Description
Hello!
To give you a little background about myself, I am currently completing a Master's degree in History at McGill and I have seven years of experience in legal practice as an attorney. I have taught courses at the university-level in English, Legal Research and Writing, and Torts, and I currently tutor through the McGill tutoring service.
I can provide help in any CEGEP, university, or law school course relating to history, law, or English. I am also an experienced proofreader and editor and would be happy to help you improve your written work in any field. I can also assist with test preparation for bar exams in the States.
My philosophy towards tutoring, and education in general, is that an understanding of the topic's conceptual framework is necessary in order to master the specifics. I always try to break down complex topics piece by piece to help my students understand both how a concept works and why it is important.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Mike

Description :
I have been working with university students for over five years as a course instructor, teaching assistant, and tutor. I have helped students to improve their writing skills, argue persuasively, become better researchers, learn how to critically analyze texts, and gather evidence to support their arguments. I also edit and proofread documents, both for academic and professional papers.
