About Me
I am a recent graduate of Carleton University, with a degree in philosophy and economics. I have a passion for learning and education- while in University, I managed a student association dedicated to educational extra-curricular activities- Model United Nations. With these activities, students were encouraged to explore diverse topics in a unique, hands-on approach. I directed several committees, many focused on history- and I had educators request to use my published materials for one of these committees. I am currently working to create a similar event for high school students in Ottawa- Canadian Model Parliament. Finally, I also have experience peer tutoring in University for two years.
I have an extensive interest in a wide variety of topics. I can tutor at any high school level in English, Philosophy, History, Civics, and Economics, as well as provide writing assistance. While mathematics and science are not my academic specialization, I do have a strong enough background to offer tutoring in math and general science up to grade 10 levels.
For university students, I can offer tutoring in Philosophy and up to third-year courses in Economics (contact me for more details). I can also provide essay writing assistance.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and playing board games with my friends.
